Biological Domestic Waste Water
Treatment Units have been developed
for the aim of treatment of domestic
waste water. All those units are
developed and manufactured entirely
by the experience and Research&Development
Study of HidroGrup. As the
treatment technology for domestic
waste water developes the method of
“Sequencing Batch Reactor Process”
is currently widely-spread in use.
Since this method realizes the
aeration and sedimentation processes
within the same reactor, it has a
considerable advantage compared with
the other methods.

Treatment Units" are operated fully
automatic under the command of Smart
Relay (Compact PLC). These units are
manufactured of St 37 steel plates
and they have a specifically formed
compact cylindrical structure.

those equipment (blowers, transfer

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROCESS
The operation principle (working-principle)
of this biological treatment unit is
“sequencing batch reactor” system
which is the advanced technology for
treatment of domestic waste water.
The unit is fed by means of a waste
water transfer pump.
The waste water collected within the
waste water equalization tank is
seperated from the solid
contaminants such as solid waste,
clothes and etc. by means of a
basket type fine-meshed grating
located at the inlet section of the
system. This operation is realized
with the help of a submersible type
waste water pump. After the grating,
the waste water is transferred to
the sequencing batch reactor and
then the waste water is reacted with
the activated-sludge. Within the
sequencing batch reactor, the
organic contaminants in the waste
water is converted to CO2 and water
by the help of aerobic bacterias. In
order to achieve this reaction, the
necessary oxygen and mixture-air is
provided by the blower included
within the unit.
The air produced by the blower is
distributed into the tank equally
through the use of rubber membrane
diffusors providing the fine-meshed
air bubbles. The organic
contamination within the waste water
is removed in the sequencing batch
reactor and then the waste water is
left to sedimentation process with
the bacteria flocks.
The treated water seperated from the
bacteria flocks by means of
sedimentation process is discharged
through the use of submersible type
discharge pump, during the discharge
operation the treated water is
disinfected by dosing hypochlorite
with the help of dosage pump.
The waste sludge formed within the
system by the time passes must be
taken away from the plant through
the use of mobile vehicles e.g.
night cart.
The system is operated automatically.
If the treated water is to be used
for irrigation (agricultural
watering), it can be accumulated
within an additional treated water
storage tank. The treated water can
be transferred to irrigation by
means of a package type hydrophore.
